I always wanted to be an attorney, but I just do not seem to have the brain for it. Of course, I am not saying that being intelligent is all that you need to be a lawyer, but it is a huge factor to it. If you cannot memorize all of the laws and understand them properly, then you have no hope as a lawyer. I do not think that I am quite good for it, that is what I believe in. I want to be a lawyer though.
Know who you are and remember who you are! This is the key to every decision we make. You are right on with this Marybeth! Your story highlights the basic principle that we are not alone. We need others in our network, or as you call it, our inner circle. We may not always have need of this safety net. Most times, just the knowledge that this net will be there is enough to encourage us to take the plunge into new initiatives. We also have to be that net for others. We need to become the safe haven and comfort zone when our inner circle mates need a place to come home to when they are struggling. I applaud you for your courage in taking this huge step and embracing your decision and taking decisive action to bring it to reality. I know you will face this new horizon with the commitment, dedication, focus and drive which is your hallmark and which makes you uniquely YOU! Congratulations Marybeth and keep inspiring us through your amazing writing and storytelling! The new road awaits you! Go out there and seize the day !
